Published feesCash-in via selected partners costs nothing until PHP 8,000 per month combined is passed, after which 2 per cent is charged on the excess, as stated on Maya’s cash-in page. Less weight belongs to that figure than to the GCash schedule above: the schedule was read directly, while the figure comes from Maya’s own site and was not re-fetched during verification.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. What GCash calls its ceiling is the balance a user holds at any given time. Each number measures something else, which makes setting them next to each other meaningless, however often the pairing is presented as a comparison.

These figures are a point-in-time record, taken in 2026-09. Limits and fees get revised by payment providers with no warning, which makes the provider’s own page the sole up-to-date source.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles instantly across wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay, while PESONet is settled within that same banking day. This is a description of the rail and not of the casino, because an operator may hold a withdrawal for its own review before Maya ever receives it, and most of the waiting time comes from that review.

A per-transaction cap of At the Upgraded tier, a transfer to another Maya user can carry PHP 20,000 for each transaction, and InstaPay transfers out can carry PHP 50,000 for each day applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — Monthly on the wallet and daily on purchases, the limit is PHP 50,000 in both cases. Neither InstaPay bank transfers nor sends to other Maya users can be done once an account sits at this tier.
  • Upgraded — To qualify, an account needs a video selfie, valid ID and a verified address. A monthly wallet limit and a daily purchase limit that are both PHP 100,000, Maya-user sends held to PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day, and InstaPay out limited to PHP 100,000 per month and PHP 50,000 per day
  • Super Users — Sends and purchases each carry a PHP 500,000 limit per day, and the wallet carries a PHP 500,000 limit per month. Anyone wondering how an account gets onto this tier will find no answer from Maya, which has not released the criteria.
  • Ultimate Users — Wallet balance is limited to PHP 5,000,000 monthly, and daily purchases and sends both come with a PHP 5,000,000 limit. Anyone wondering how an account gets onto this tier will find no answer from Maya, which has not released the criteria.

The published ceiling of Basic starts at PHP 50,000, and stepping up to Upgraded makes the figure PHP 100,000 per month, with Super Users on PHP 500,000 and Ultimate Users on PHP 5,000,000 applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

Maya’s e-wallet carries no gambling clause in its terms and conditions, which were read directly; the prohibitions there are general ones, covering illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. Suspension or cancellation of the card is the stated consequence in the terms of its CREDIT CARD, a separate product, where ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ counts as a restricted transaction. Removal of in-app gambling and gaming links followed for Maya too, since BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 applied to it in August 2025. A restriction in a credit card agreement does not carry over to the wallet, and that is why the two products must be told apart.
